The Dog Ate My Grocery List

I know, it sounds like the old homework excuse. But really! The dog actually ate my grocery list. It was just sitting there on the kitchen table, when here comes my canine, grabs the list and runs for it. I tried to chase him down, but by the time I caught up to him, it was too late.

My wife suggested that if I were to follow him around for a couple of days that I might get my list back, but that didn't seem to appealing to me.
